In 2016-2017 Karly was selected in the Junior Matildas and then in 2018-2019 Karly represented the Young Matildas.
Karly represented the Matildas in the 2019 World Cup in France.
She was appointed co-captain of Canberra United for the 2019-2020 season.
Karly was awarded the PFA Young Women’s Footballer of the year for 2019 and she was also the inaugural winner of the Collette McCallum Medal for 2019 as the best player in the Young Matildas.
Ahead of the 2020 domestic season, Karly signed with Norwegian side LSK Kvinner.

Karly with her Norwegian father and Australian mother is proud of both her Norwegian and Australian heritage.
