ROLE: Leg Spin Bowler


On-Field

A tall right-arm leg-spinner and right-handed batter, Kaya has progressed rapidly through the Cricket NSW pathways Her cricket journey with Manly Warringah Junior Cricket Club, and she currently represents Manly Warringah in Premier Cricket First Grade.

Kaya has earned selection in both the NSW Under 16 and NSW Under 19 Metropolitan squads.

A standout performer at the 2025 Under 16 National Championships, she played a pivotal role in helping NSW Metro secure the national title, taking 12 wickets and Kaya was named in the Australian Merit Team.

Her performances led to selection in Cricket Australia's prestigious Under 19 Lanning v Perry Series. Cricket NSW has since retained Kaya in its Under 19 pathway program. Kaya's skill set as a leg spinner and her batting, athleticism, work ethic and coach ability have earned the respect of teammates and coaches alike.

Off-Field

Kaya has held leadership roles as Sports Captain and House Prefect at her Secondary School and is completing her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

She has represented her school in senior Water Polo, Netball and Basketball.

Passionate about Sport and Exercise Science, she is equally committed to her studies and has a strong academic record in Design and Technology.

Grounded, resilient and team-oriented, Kaya combines leadership, creativity and a genuine desire to continually improve both on and off the field.
