Nic is a talented left-handed opening batsman renowned for his high energy cricket, which has mass appeal across many age groups, in particular younger cricketers.

Nic’s career to date has been littered with achievements, having made his Test Debut in 2016 for Australia, he is also a regular in the Australian T20I Squad as well as having won the Steve Waugh Medal for NSW’s Player of the Year in 2015/16.

Nic is currently plying his trade for the Victorian Bushrangers & Melbourne Stars after moving South. This move has paid dividends for Nic, being named the 2019/20 Bill Lawry Medalist for Victoria’s Sheffield Shield Player of the Year, as well as being named the 2019/20 National Sheffield Shield Player of the Year.

Nic’s exploits in Australia have also gained international attention, with IPL leading franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore signing Nic to a three-year contract in 2014.

Nic signed with the Melbourne Renegades ahead of BBL 11, where he has since gone onto Captain the club.

Off-Field

Nic takes great joy in dealing with the media and has a particular interest in the industry.

He also holds keen interest in the fashion industry, as well as messages surrounding animal welfare and species protection.
